No wonder Clint's smiling! Amy Adams dazzles in backless gown as she joins Eastwood at Trouble With The Curve premiere

Famous for being a man of few words, Clint Eastwood made a rare misstep with his bizarre speech last month at the Republican National Convention in Florida.
But the 82-year-old Hollywood legend was back in the headlines for all the right reasons on Wednesday, leading a red carpet screening for his new movie Trouble With The Curve.
The director, actor, former mayor and father of seven looked fighting fit as he posed with fellow stars and guests at the Warner Bros. screening in Westwood.

In honor of the baseball movie, event organizers laid down a 'green' carpet of fake grass for the event, instead of the usual red carpet.
By Eastwood's side was leading lady Amy Adams, who looked stunning in a red silk floor-length gown.
Clint opted for smart casual attire, walking the red carpet in an open-necked shirt and a dark checked suit.
Eastwood, acting in the first movie he hasn't also directed since 1993's In The Line Of Fire, plays the role of Gus, a legendary baseball scout who is growing long in the tooth.

As Gus's executive bosses begin to question his judgement, the one person who might be able to help Gus in the movie is his work-obsessed daughter, played by Adams.
Also at the premiere was Justin Timberlake, who plays the part of Johnny in the film, a former ballplayer with radio-booth aspirations.
Unusually for a star of his stature, Justin is said to have chased the film's producers for the part, even making an audition tape to get the role.

Eastwood and Timberlake became close golfing buddies during the film, reports USA Today.
The famous duo originally met during a charity golf tournament back when Justin was in the band 'N Sync.
Also turning up to the premiere was actor John Goodman, who plays old-time baseball man and Gus's best friend, Pete Klein.
Actor Matthew Lillard also hit the red carpet. Lillard, who played a memorable part in The Descendents, also has a role in this movie.

Eastwood came under fire last month for a rambling speech he gave at the RNC in Tampa, Florida, which included him addressing an empty chair as if President Obama were sitting in it.
In an interview on Ellen this week, he discussed some of his political views with host Ellen DeGeneres, including the fact that he considers himself a Libertarian.
'Libertarian values - that's where Republicans used to be when they were saving money,' he told Ellen.
'It means you're socially liberal - leave everybody alone - but you believe in fiscal responsibility and you believe in government staying out of your life.'
