Flex appeal! Katie Couric impresses muscle man 50 Cent with her bulging biceps as he promotes new fitness and diet regime

50 Cent may be famed for his ripped physique but even the rapper could not fail to be impressed when he got a glimpse of veteran journalist Katie Couric's biceps while promoting his new fitness and diet book.
The veteran television journalist, 56, was only too happy to flex for the cameras in a light-hearted exchange with the rapper on her daytime show Katie on ABC.
The former news anchor is a renowned fitness fanatic who favours a variety of different exercises including running, yoga and weight training.
'@50Cent came to @KatieShow to talk fitness & #Formula50… I might have stolen the show with my own guns though #sorryCurtis,' Couric quipped in a tweet following the appearance.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, says his new lifestyle guide Formula 50 can produce a startling body transformation if followed for just six weeks.
The fitness regime advocates short, intense workouts to boost metabolism and a protein-rich diet.

The rapper, who has built an estimated $100 million fortune on the back of his musical career, is now branching into the fitness industry.
His Formula 50 book was devised with the help of elite trainer, and founder of the Peak Performance gym chain, Joe Dowdell. 
Complete meal plans for men and women are also included, courtesy of  Layne Norton, a bodybuilder with a doctorate in nutritional sciences from the University of Illinois and Stephanie Wilson, head of nutrition at IMG Academies.
For breakfast they advocate a combination of dishes, for example reduced- calorie bread with fruit spread, one ounce of Canadian bacon, two eggs sunny side up and half a cup of honeydew melon.
Lunch and dinner menus feature protein heavy staples such as cheeseburgers, Jamaican jerk chicken and beef tenderloin.
The rapper shot to fame after releasing his commercial debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2003, which sold 872,000 copies in the first four days.
The lead single, In da Club broke a Billboard record as the most listened-to song in radio history within a week.
