'My first haircut was a Rod Stewart cut': Cameron Diaz reveals her love for the rock legend as she joins him on The Graham Norton Show

She always looks effortlessly stylish, but now Cameron Diaz has admitted who her first ever style hero was: Rod Stewart.
Sitting next to rock legend himself at The Graham Norton Show, to air on Friday evening, the 40-year-old actress revealed she used to be so in love with his hairstyle, she copied it herself.
Cameron joined Stewart as well as Sarah Millican on the show following the London premiere of her latest flick Gambit.

Looking every inch the Hollywood starlet in a strapless animal printed jumpsuit, the star revealed her love of Rod's hair.
'The first ever hair cut I had that I paid for myself and that wasn’t cut by mother in the kitchen, was a Rod Stewart cut,' she admitted. 'It was super short on top and long at the back.'
Rod himself spoke about his iconic mop as well and was adamant he would never change his locks.

Well, she is an actress: Cameron was her usual bubbly self as she clowned around with Graham, Rod and fellow guest Sarah Millican

'I won’t because it will never sit down,' he explained. 'Before I owned a hairdryer and there was hair lacquer, I used to make it stand up with warm water and sugar and wait for it to dry.'
The pretty blonde seemed at ease during the interview with the funny man, and even admitted her love of older man.
Talking about her new movie Gambit and working with its stellar British cast, she said, 'I was terrified, absolutely, because they all do theatre and they have a grasp of the English language and use it in so many ways.'
'I, on the other hand, have a lazy tongue because I am from Long Beach California and am linguistically challenged!'

New movie: The star was in town for the premiere of her latest film Gambit, which sees her acting with a mainly British cast

Talking about her co-star Tom Courteney, she says, 'I am totally in love with him, he is the most charming, most hilarious man.'
Graham was quick to remind the pretty blonde about a previous episode of his show, where she flirted with David Attenborough.
'Apparently I have an issue,' Cameron admitted. 'I was shameless with Sir David Attenborough.  I love him.'

But it wasn't all fun and games, as the There's Something About Mary star took the opportunity to dismiss any rumours about her love life.

Talking about getting linked to Tom Cruise, she explained: 'I happened to bump into Penelope Cruz, Javier (Bardem), Tom and his son in a hotel and joined them for dinner.'
'At midnight I said, "I’m 40" so we took pictures and then said "goodnight, see you later, blah, blah, blah" and I haven’t seen him since but the next thing I know, apparently I am dating him and it’s full on and he is coming after me.'
