But Elle Macpherson proved just how adaptable her style is, looking like the perfect snow bunny as she touched down in Aspen on Wednesday, with on/off boyfriend Jeff Soffer in tow.
Meeting up with ex Arpad Busson, the father of her two sons, and his girlfriend Uma Thurman, the Aussie supermodel looked primed and ready for a family holiday in the snow.

The American actress and her daughter Maya spent the festive period with boyfriend Arpad in Colorado, but were joined by Elle and her two boys for the last few days of the trip.

The 49-year-old Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model host seemed in great spirits as she was spotted hanging out with some friends' daughters while Arpad took their sons onto the slopes.
Looking completely perfect for the conditions, Elle certainly didn't blend into the crowd in her on-trend ski attire, looking every inch the star as she made her way around the snowy town.

And if there was any awkwardness between the model and her former partner, she certainly didn't show it, grinning from ear to ear as she wandered around the shops.
The mother-of-two showed off her world-famous figure in a pair of bright, white skin-tight jeans, with a stylish cream jumper over the top.
She wore a cosy-looking but chic ski jacket with a fur-trimmed hood which she pulled up over her head, keeping herself warm.

Elle matched the fur on her jacket to the fur on the top of her stylish snow boots and added a pair of black sunglasses, protecting herself from the sun's glare.
The model perused the Aspen shops, picking up some iPhone accessories and spending time with her on/off boyfriend.
The day before, Uma had taken all of the kids onto the slopes, while her five-month-old daughter was wrapped up in the warm.
